Under our Environmental Desk, 489Movement is actively transforming shared community spaces. At Legae-La-Bana, we’ve been cleaning waste, planting greenery, and nurturing the gardens into vibrant, safe learning environments.
“Keeper Kasi Clean & Fresh” is not just about plants and paint – it’s about agency. Young volunteers and school-based eco-clubs are engaged in planning, planting, and protecting. The goal: to make environmental action feel urgent, local, and joyful.
From this pilot, we aim to scale to more schools and parks through seasonal eco-drives and long-term partnerships.
